Would This Still Be Considered Rape?
There are many variables here and several things TeenHealthFX does not know, so we cannot definitely say whether the situation would be considered sexual assault. If you were a freshman in high school when this happened, depending on the age of this person it could rise to the level of sexual assault. If you were a freshman in college and 18, it could also be considered an assault if you were incapacitated by drinking or if your drink was spiked leading to your inability to “get the words out.”
TeenHealthFX recommends that you report this to the police so that they can get all of the information they need and investigate. And if you are having trouble dealing with this emotionally, then FX encourages you to meet with a reputable mental health provider, such as a clinical social worker or clinical psychologist.
