Being that TeenHealthFX cannot conduct a proper diagnosis online, we suggest scheduling an appointment with your school nurse or primary care physician. If you don't have a doctor and live in northern New Jersey, you can call the Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health at 973-971-5199 for an appointment with an adolescent medicine specialist or contact your local teen health center. You can also contact your insurance company for a list of in-network providers, or search for a podiatrist in your area.
In order to ensure proper foot care before you are able to meet with your doctor, FX recommends the following:
- Buy and wear shoes that fit your feet properly.
- Avoid wearing the same pair of shoes constantly, as doing so may cause your feet to be rubbed in the same places.
